NetDRIVE Community Meeting 2026: Call for Posters Abstracts

[Call now closed]. We welcomed abstracts submissions for poster presentations at the  NetDRIVE Community Meeting "Creating a New Reality: A Sustainable Digital Transformation", hosted at the University of Oxford on 22-23 April 2026.

Congratulations to the "Co-designing digital sufficiency for sustainable DRI" poster that was the winning poster! You can find the winning poster at this link

The meeting was held as part of part of the NetDRIVE project, which provides authoritative advice to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) on sustainable digital research infrastructure, supporting the transition to net zero. The event will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to reflect on how digital transformation can be delivered responsibly and sustainably.

We welcomed abstracts for poster presentations that engage with the UK DRI Net Zero Roadmap and contribute to one or more of the meeting objectives:

  • Practical approaches towards community leadership and scientific credibility in defining and implementing net zero.
  • Understanding the shape, constraints and opportunities of the emerging UK power supply.
  • Engaging across generations to guide the digital transformation.

We asked for abstracts that clearly articulated how the proposed poster presentation informs, supports, or advances sustainable digital transformation and net zero DRI.

Key dates

  • Poster abstract submission deadline: 11 March 2026
  • Notification of acceptance: 18 March 2026
  • Confirmation of participation: 25 March 2026
  • Event dates: 22-23 April 2026

We encouraged submissions from early-career researchers, and contributions that bridge technical, policy, and community perspectives.
