NetDRIVE Autumn Gathering 2026

Join the NetDRIVE community in Bristol from 4 to 6 November 2026 to galvanise collective action toward more sustainable digital research infrastructure.

Hosted by UWE Bristol’s Digital Cultures Research Centre, the meeting will take place at Watershed, a values-led cultural organisation on Bristol’s Harbourside. The 3-day event focuses on building the shared capacities to drive transformative change in sustainable computing. A hybrid option is available for day two.

Across three days, the meeting will:

• Create the conditions for galvanising the NetDRIVE community toward collective action
• Identify barriers that limit coordinated change across institutions and sectors
• Sharing stories, demonstrations and emerging research practices
• Develop next steps for advancing sustainable research computing together
• Situate NetDRIVE within wider environmental efforts

The event is part of UWE Bristol’s Green Fortnight, an annual programme exploring eco ideas, smart living, and collective action for a greener future. There is support available to cover accommodation and travel for successful applicants.
